Description
This delightful, low-growing annual lupine shows up in our local grasslands every spring. Petite, 6 – 20″ tall, with rich blue floral spikes, it thrives in full sun and fast-draining, nutrient-poor soil. Important pollinator plant. Seeds germinate better if soaked overnight in hot (but not boiling) water.
