A great plant for under oaks, redwoods or other partly shady spots. Covered in towers of purple blooms in spring, approx. 1-1.5′ tall. Easy to grow, will reseed. Needs low water and prefers regular garden soil; will also do well near ponds. Pair with other spring annuals like Clarkia and Fivespot.
