Support Our Work

Your support helps us grow native plants, educate gardeners, and create thriving habitats for wildlife.

Why Your Support Matters

Donate

Home Ground Habitats is a nonprofit, volunteer-powered nursery dedicated to growing native plants and supporting habitat gardening throughout our community. Donations help sustain our work — from propagating native plants to offering educational programs that inspire people to create thriving habitats for wildlife.

Every contribution helps expand the reach of native plants and the ecosystems they support.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Support from our community allows Home Ground Habitats to continue growing plants, sharing knowledge, and creating spaces where people and wildlife can thrive together.

Your support helps us:

  • Grow thousands of native plants each year
  • Maintain our demonstration habitat gardens
  • Offer workshops and educational programs
  • Support school and community garden projects
  • Provide resources for gardeners interested in habitat planting

Together, these efforts help create healthier landscapes for pollinators, birds, and local ecosystems.

Community Impact

Over the years, Home Ground Habitats has collaborated with schools, conservation organizations, and community groups across Marin County to promote native plants and habitat gardening.

These partnerships have helped expand the presence of pollinator-friendly gardens, educational programs, and restoration projects throughout the region.

Our work has also been recognized by local organizations that share our commitment to ecological stewardship and environmental education.

A single native plant can feed countless insects, birds, and pollinators. When a community comes together to grow those plants, the impact multiplies in ways we may never fully see.
